Nokia 5 saat dirilis di ajang MWC di Barcelona, Minggu (26/2/2017).
HMD Global, pemegang lisensi handset Nokia, merilis dua smartphone Android kelas menengah, Nokia 3 dan Nokia 5. Peluncuran
kedua perangkat tersebut dilakukan sehari sebelum ajang Mobile World
Congress (MWC) 2017 di Barcelona, Spanyol, Minggu (26/2/2017). "Kami
sudah merilis Nokia 6 di China, ini merupakan awal. Berikutnya, kami
berharap bisa menjadi pemimpin di industri ini (dengan dirilisnya
perangkat Android lain)," tutur Arto Nummela, CEO HMD Global, saat
merilis dua Android Nokia baru di hadapan jurnalis, termasuk wartawan
Kompas.com, Deliusno. Juvo Sarvikas, Chief Product
Officer HMD, membeberkan kelebihan dari dua perangkat berbasis Android
itu. Menurutnya, HMD Global berhasil mendesain garis antena yang tidak
biasa."Kami berhasil membuat solusi antena agar berada di ujung atas dan bawah perangkat," kata Sarvikas.
Nokia 5
Menurut
Sarvikas, Nokia 5 bakal hadir dengan bodi berbahan logam secara
keseluruhan. Nokia 5 memiliki layar berbentang 5,2 inci beresolusi HD
720p. Perangkat Android ini ditenagai oleh SoC Snapdragon 430, RAM 2 GB,
dan media penyimpanan internal 16 GB. Di bagian belakang perangkat, terdapat kamera 13 megapiksel. Sementara itu, untuk bagian depan, terdapat kamera 8 megapiksel. Produk
yang sudah menjalankan sistem operasi Android 7.1.1 "Nougat" ini akan
dijual dengan harga 189 euro atau sekitar Rp 2,6 juta.
